Route Description

Vinci to Anchiano: The trail starts in Vinci and heads towards the hamlet of Anchiano, where Leonardo’s birthplace is located. The path winds through olive groves, vineyards, and rolling hills, offering stunning views of the Tuscan landscape.
Leonardo’s Birthplace: Upon reaching Anchiano, you will find the modest farmhouse where Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452. The site has been preserved and turned into a museum, providing insights into Leonardo’s early life and the environment that influenced his genius.
Return to Vinci: The return journey follows the same path, allowing you to soak in the views and perhaps explore more of Vinci upon your return.
